Eng. Maher Khalil Al-Hassan, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, paid an official visit to the Idlib Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he was received by Mr. Alaa Al-Ali, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and President of the Idlib Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the members of the Board of Directors.
During the visit, discussions covered the Chamber's working mechanisms and its role in supporting and stimulating commercial and industrial activity, as well as some of the challenges that traders and industrialists may face and ways to address them. The meeting included a discussion of the pricing decision and the weights decision, and of mechanisms for protecting trademarks and the current work on amending and developing the trademark law.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry concluded the meeting by urging the members of the Chamber's Board of Directors to work towards meeting all the needs of the commercial and industrial environment in Idlib Governorate.
