President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, in Hama: The chambers exist to solve the problems of traders and industrialists

During his visit to the Hama Chamber of Commerce, the President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Alaa Omar Al-Ali, was briefed on the main challenges facing traders and industrialists and discussed with its Board of Directors ways to improve performance and strengthen communication with economic stakeholders. He affirmed that the chambers exist to solve the problems of the business sector and defend its interests, and stressed the importance of the electronic linkage currently being built to facilitate the exchange of information.

Al-Ali also pointed to the need for the trade sector to be represented on government committees and at exhibitions abroad, announcing the creation of a specialised department within the Federation to follow up on the affairs of the chambers and provide technical and administrative support. He noted that the proposed amendments to Law No. 8 aim to improve the commercial business environment, bringing greater flexibility and fairness for traders.
