Boosting trade and economic exchange at the centre of a meeting between the President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the President of the Syrian-Turkish Business Council

The President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Alaa Omar Al-Ali, discussed with the President of the Syrian-Turkish Business Council, Mr. Hussam Tatari, ways to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Syria and Turkey, as part of joint efforts to develop bilateral relations and revitalise trade between the two countries.

The meeting, held at the building of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, addressed the existing cooperation between Syria and Turkey in various economic fields. A number of successful trade partnerships were reviewed, and mechanisms for expanding them to include other new sectors were discussed. The two sides stressed the importance of providing a stable and secure business environment for traders from both countries, activating the role of the joint business council, and organising economic forums and trade exhibitions in support of the existing partnerships between Syrian and Turkish businesspeople.
